vue

An authentic siege camp of XIIIe - XIVe centuries is installed with the accesses of the borough castral. Some of the most beautiful machines, reconstituted with identical (of which one reduced with the third of its original size to be handy even by the children), are in place. The names are evocative : " Stone Thrower", " Bricole"," Trebuchet", " Biffa"or " Couillard", " Early Bombard", " Ram", " Belfry", " Bastion"," Arrow Trebuchet". One will find there soon other machines, offensive and defensive, of jet, of bombardment, sap and attack : "Mangonel", "Tonnelon", "Chatte" ou "Louve", ... All the activity of a medieval siege camp is evoked with the presentation of those which served these machines: rope-maker, mason stone, blacksmith, carpenter.
